Julie Lawson, BScOT(c), graduated from the School of Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1995. She has worked as an occupational therapist in Canada, Bermuda and the United States in a variety of settings including acute neuro, inpatient neuro rehab and outpatient neuro. Julie has specialized training in the treatment of adults with hemiplegia from a stroke or brain injury under the teachings of Mr. Waleed Al-Oboudi, M.S. OTR/L, the originator of the Neuro-IFRAH® approach. Julie completed the Neuro-IFRAH Instructor® Training course in August 2004. She currently owns Headway Rehabilitation Inc., a private practice in Moncton, N.B., Canada. She offers neuro -rehabilitation to people in a clinic, home or community setting. She teaches introductory courses, intermediate courses and the 98 hour Neuro-IFRAH® Certification Course in the treatment and management of adults with hemiplegia from a stroke or brain injury.
