Newsam, Marianna
Marianna (Besmer) Newsam, OTR/L, Neuro-IFRAH instructor®. Marianna received her degree in Occupational Therapy in 1996 from San Jose State University. Marianna is the clinical specialist at Long Beach Memorial Rehabilitation in Long Beach, California. Marianna specializes in management of patients with stroke and brain injury. She has treated patients in a variety of settings including Acute Care, Acute Rehabilitation, Outpatient and Skilled Nursing. She has been specializing in stroke and brain injury since 2000. Marianna has been mentored by originator and author of the Neuro-IFRAH® treatment approach, Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR where she completed her training to become a certified Neuro-IFRAH instructor®. Marianna enjoys teaching therapists and treating patients with stroke and brain injury to improve the field of rehabilitation and create positive outcomes in patients.
